Plane Crash Claims The Lives of Three Wichita Falls Residents
Authorities in New Mexico are investigating a fatal plane crash involving three people from Wichita Falls.
KOB4 in Albuquerque reports that the plane, a Cessna C182, lost contact with the tower sometime between 12:30 PM and 1:00 PM Monday. The wreckage was located on Tuesday near the Sandia Crest Ski Area near Albuquerque.
The plane was owned by Brian Moore of Wichita Falls. Moore and Tim and Sherry Couch were identified as the victims of the crash.
Tim and Sherry own TC Turbine of Wichita Falls. Moore owns Moore Aviation, also based in Wichita Falls. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
