Texas is Very, Very Unhappy About These Rising Gas Prices
Look at the bright side my fellow Texans – at least you don’t live in California.
I realize it doesn’t make it any easier when you’re cussing the gas pump, but it seems to somewhat soften the blow when I know someone else has it worse.
And believe me when I tell you that I was cussing the hell out of the pump the last time I gassed up.
So, with that being said, I wasn’t the least bit shocked when I found out that a whole helluva lot of Texans have been pissing and moaning about gas prices on Twitter. In fact, according to a study conducted by Part Catalog, Texas has the 2nd highest number of gas price complainers on the social media site. Arizona has the most.

While I can’t blame anyone for complaining about high gas prices, I can’t help but feel like we would actually be glad to be paying what we are right now come summertime.
At the moment we’re paying an average of $3.69 per gallon in Texas. Yes, that sucks, but according to Gas Buddy, experts believe we’ll be paying as much as $4.00 per gallon within the next few months.
The best thing we can do at this point is to either stop driving (which isn’t a viable option for most people) or shop around a bit using a gas price app like Gas Buddy.
And if you live in Wichita Falls, wait until Sunday, if possible, to get gas because that’s the day you’ll get the best price here.
