Wichita Falls Police Seeking Information on Cold Case Homicide

Crime Stoppers of Wichita Falls is offering a hefty reward for anyone who can assist in solving a cold case homicide.

The crime happened at some point between June 7 at June 8, 1997 at the Trade Winds Hotel located in the 1200 block of Broad, according to Texoma’s Homepage.

Someone entered the room John Wayne Richter of Saginaw was staying in and beat him to death with an unknown object.

Not much is known about the crime and the police could use the community’s help.
