Officer Involved Shooting Leaves One Dead in Hardeman County

The Texas Rangers are investigating an officer involved shooting in Quanah Saturday morning.

According to Texas DPS, a Hardeman County Sheriff responded to a residence in Quanah about a report of a man with a knife at around 9:15 am. Minutes later, the deputy called for emergency medical response and reported shots had been fired.

A man was pronounced dead at the scene. The man’s identity has not been released at this time.
