Remains Identified As Missing Wichita Falls Woman

Remains found in Burnett Park last week have been identified as those of 27 year-old Danielle Hill Alvarado.  Danielle has been missing since January 2010.  She was last seen alive by family members after returning home from church services.  Danielle's husband, Jonathan Alvarado was a suspect in her disappearance.  He died from an apparent suicide last year.

A witness in the case had contacted Wichita Falls Police with the location of her remains.  Wichita Falls Police, Wichita County Sheriff's officials and the FBI searched an area of Burnett Park along FM 368 last Thursday based upon the tip and worked into the day on Friday to recover remains and evidence in the case.  The remains were sent to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner for identification.  Danielle's case is now an open murder investigation.
