Man Shot in Wichita Falls Parking Lot, Police Searching For Suspect

Wichita Falls police are searching for the suspect of a shooting that left one man injured in the parking lot of Little Caesars on Seymour Hwy Sunday night.

Around 6:30 p.m., police were called to the Rio Vista Plaza shopping center at the corner of Seymour Highway and Beverly Drive after a black man in his 20s was found shot in or near a car, according to reports.

Police say the victim was taken to United Regional Hospital and taken into surgery. His condition is unknown.

Detectives do not have a suspect description at this time, but are searching for a suspect vehicle, a blue Nissan four-door which may have fled the scene on Loop 11.
