Wichita Falls Police Nab Two Women With a Load of Meth, Cash and a Gun
A traffic stop in Wichita Falls earlier this week lead to two firearm and narcotics arrests.
On Tuesday (Sept 12) officers with the Wichita Falls Police Department's Organized Crime Unit pulled over a 2016 Chevrolet Malibu in the 2800 block of US 287 just after 8pm.
According to police, while the officers were conducting the stop, they found a .380 caliber handgun, cash, and 66.41 grams of methamphetamine.
The driver, 39-year-old Eva Valasquez, and the passenger, 25-year-old Andrea Benavidez, were taken into custody and transported to the Wichita County jail without incident.
Both women were charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance PG1..
