A Wichita Falls man is held in the Wichita County Jail after he tried to sell some stolen wire at Bell Processing on Old Burk Road last week.  23 year-old Allan Wayne Burgess was arrested on September 9th after he attempted to sell some $15,000 worth of copper, aluminum and bronze wiring at the scrap yard.

Burgess was also found to have outstanding warrants in Wichita County for failure to make a court appearance and driving on a suspended license.  The charge for the stolen wire is for theft under $20,000 of aluminum, bronze, copper or brass.  His bonds total $10,000.  No word from authorities on exactly where Burgess obtained the wire.
