UPDATE: Watch Wichita Falls SWAT Arrest Man Barricaded Inside Home on Maurine Street [VIDEO]

UPDATE: The man responsible for the stand-off on Maurine Street Sunday evening has been charged with making a terroristic threat.  Chance LaRoy Crowe threatened to kill himself and his wife before barricading himself in his home at 2207 Maurine.  His wife escaped unharmed.  Crowe remains in the Wichita County Jail on a $2,500 bond.

Wichita Falls Police and SWAT have closed down Maurine Street from Kate Burgess Elementary to Amber. Police ask that motorists avoid the area until further notice.

A male subject barricaded himself inside a home in the area of the 2000 block of Maurine Street sometime before 7:00 pm Sunday evening and was threatening to harm himself.  Police are talking to the subject at this hour.
